CITY OF LIBERTY LAKE: City of Liberty Lake Weekly Update for October 7, 2020

Update

City of Liberty Lake issued the following announcement.

What's Happening In The City Of Liberty Lake?

-The last day of Farmer's Market is Saturday, October 10.  Join in the fun one last time for the season!

-The Harvard Road Widening project will likely start October 19th. Citizens will begin to see workers around the bridge doing work on the support structure around I-90 all winter. In the spring, work will begin on the bridge deck  and on ramps where there will be lane shifts and closures. The target finish date is May 2021.  Major lane shifts affecting traffic flow and bridge deck will commence in the spring.

-The Liberty Lake Library is offering contact-free holds pickup Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday from 10am-3pm. For more details about the service, contact the library at 509-232-2510.

-Parks crews are getting ready to perform irrigation blowouts and winterize park restrooms.  Porta potties will be brought in during the winter season.

-Winter Glow planning for Orchard Park is underway!

-A reminder from LLPD to please secure your vehicles and homes at night and ensure you take all your valued items out of your vehicles or keep them out of sight.  We have had several vehicle prowlers in the area and would ask you to help deter some of this activity by securing your property.
