FELICIDADES: Nearly 50 Spokane Public Schools students joined in the 27th annual Hispanic/Latinx Graduate and Young Scholar Recognition Ceremony last night at Spokane Community College.
The event, presented by LUNA HBPA Spokane Foundation and SCC, honored graduates from area high schools, colleges, and universities, including Eastern Washington University, SCC, Spokane Falls Community College, Community Colleges of Spokane, Whitworth University, Central Valley School District - Spokane Valley, WA, Cheney Public Schools, Dishman Hills High School, East Valley High School, Mead Schools, Medical Lake High School, Upper Columbia Academy, and SPS.
HBPA President Miguel Maltos Gonzales said the ceremony was a "brief glimpse of Spokane’s future community servants, economic leaders, educators, healthcare providers, tech developers, and creatives with balanced cultural foundations."
