Living and Working in Space: A Homeschool Event on March 11, 2022

Spokane Public Library issued the following announcement.

Join us for a special live event with the Goddard Space Flight Center! See full description for important information. Registration is required for this private Zoom event.

This month, we have a special live presentation by the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland! This interactive event will be led by one of their education specialists.

People are living and working in space right now! Participants will discover the different ways that scientists, engineers and astronauts help humans live in space. They will also learn about the parts of an astronaut's space suit and then look at actual food items sent to the International Space Station. There will be a question and answer session. 

This event will last 45 minutes. Please plan to watch some or all of the following videos to prepare everyone for the event!

Technology requirements: You will need a device or computer with an internet connection and the Chrome browser, microphone and speakers to participate.
