Census Bureau: More women than men in Spokane in 2019

Of the 217,353 people living in Spokane in 2019, 51 percent (110,956) were women and 49 percent (106,397) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Spokane Standard.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 69,180-to-68,199. In the 65 and over age range, there were 18,818 females and 14,412 males.
