CITY OF LIBERTY LAKE: City of Liberty Lake Weekly Update for December 9, 2020

Update

City of Liberty Lake issued the following announcement.

What's Happening In The City Of Liberty Lake?

-The Liberty Lake Police Department would like to remind everyone that tis is the season for attempted scams through email as well as phone messages.  You may receive emails stating they are waiting for verification for a purchase from your credit card or various other accounts.  Be sure to check the email address as most of these will be from a private account instead of a banking institution.  Some may try to look similar to a bank or credit union, but remember your bank will reach out and contact you personally and would never ask you to provide any information such as passwords or other sensitive information over the internet.

-Irrigation work continues at Pavillion Park, and will be wrapped up in the Spring.

The Liberty Lake Library is offering contact-free holds pickup Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday from 10am-3pm. For more details about the service, contact the library at 509-232-2510.

-Winter Glow at Orchard Park is underway!  Lights are on for all to view and enjoy!  Support your local restaurant by stopping by for takeout after you enjoy the lights!  https://winterglowspectacular.com/?fbclid=IwAR0XK7onlkoXrv9rTRPi9IucHkonWh6rEavGw-n3ogBjUitO9cz-8iFlbfQ

-The City has introduced a new app called TextMyGov that will allow citizens to text a number and receive a reply on items such as questions, concerns and ideas.  https://www.libertylakewa.gov/
