City of Liberty Lake issued the following announcement.
The City is seeking residents of the City of Liberty Lake who are interested in serving on the City’s Planning Commission. The City currently has one vacancy, along with three seats with terms that are due to expire December 31, 2020.
The term for the currently vacant position will expire on December 31, 2022. The term for the other three positions will be from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023.
The Planning Commission meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month and serves as an advisory body to the City Council regarding the overall coordination of land use in the City. The Planning Commission performs the duties described in the Ordinances and Codes which include creation and amendments to the City Comprehensive Plan and Development Code.
Applications are due by November 15, 2020.
