Cost of college went up for all students at Northwest HVAC/R Training Center

Tuition and fees rose 5.7 percent for 2018-19 at Northwest HVAC/R Training Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Washington students paid $7,911 to attend the private not-for-profit school this year – $425 more than the $7,486 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 85 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 28 students received grants or scholarships totaling $145,552 and 23 students took out student loans totaling more than $165,559.

Including all undergraduates (41), 34 students used grants or scholarships totaling $174,968, and 27 students took out $199,559 in federal student loans.
