88 percent of applicants to Northwest HVAC/R Training Center were admitted for fall 2018

At Northwest HVAC/R Training Center, 60 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 98 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private not-for-profit school in Spokane enrolled 41 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

93 percent of undergraduates are residents of Washington, and 7 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (80 percent) and Asian (5 percent).

The school admitted 88 percent of the 68 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 68 percent enrolled.
