City of Spokane Valley issued the following announcement on June 2

The City of Spokane Valley's Parks and Recreation Department free summer meal program is back at three city parks for children 18 and under. The program begins June 15 and runs every Monday through Thursday through August 6.

The program offers sack lunches (includes next day's breakfast) provided by East Valley School District (EVSD) and free activity kits provided by Spokane Valley Parks and Recreation. Children do not need to be an EVSD student to receive meals.

Meals and activity kits will be at Edgecliff, Terrace View and Valley Mission Parks. For more information on times and park addresses visit spokanevalley.org/freemealprogram or call 509-720-5200.
