Spokane County Parks, Recreation & Golf maintains several park properties which are popular for winter recreation including some community and regional parks and several Conservation Futures properties such as Antoine Peak, Mica Peak, Dishman Hills, Liberty Lake, and the McKenzie Conservation Area on Newman Lake, among others.
Recreationists are encouraged to be prepared for winter driving conditions when
heading out to County Parks trailheads in the winter (4WD vehicles and/or traction tires and chains are recommended).
