On Tuesday, November 21, former Montverde Academy standout, Ryan Nembhard’s current college team, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, won 76-57 in their NCAA D1 game against the Syracuse Orange.
The game took place in Honolulu, Hawaii. This was the first matchup against the Syracuse Orange this season.

Luana Avelar joins Gonzaga women’s tennis as a graduate transfer after playing at Colorado State University. Head coach Natalie Pluskota-Hamberg praised her work ethic and competitive spirit. Avelar brings experience from conference play and international junior tournaments.
Gonzaga women’s rowing team advanced several boats to Saturday’s finals after strong finishes at Lake Natoma during the West Coast Conference Championships. The Bulldogs secured top-two placements across all preliminary heats.
