On Friday, December 29, former Ellensburg High School standout, Steele Venters’ current college team, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, lost 74-84 in their NCAA D1 game against the San Diego State Aztecs.
The game took place in Spokane, Washington. This was the first matchup against the San Diego State Aztecs this season.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, January 4 at 6 p.m. in Spokane, Washington.
Karsten Sweum and Mikey Bell have been named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-West Second Team following standout seasons for Gonzaga baseball. Both players received recognition for their individual accomplishments during conference play.
Gonzaga University announced that nineteen women’s rowing team members have been named CRCA scholar athletes, setting a new program record. The honor recognizes both academic achievement and athletic participation.
