On Tuesday, November 14, former Overland High School standout, Graham Ike’s current college team, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, won 123-57 in their NCAA D1 game against the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers.
The game took place in Spokane, Washington. This was the first matchup against the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers this season.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Monday, November 20 at 2 p.m. in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Karsten Sweum pitched a no-hitter as Gonzaga defeated San Francisco to secure at least part of the West Coast Conference regular season championship. The Bulldogs’ strong offense supported his performance as they extended their winning streak against San Francisco.
Gonzaga men’s rowing earned top honors at this year’s Dad Vail Regatta by winning the Western Sprints Trophy after strong performances in both Varsity Eight events. Assistant coach Kayla Cartelli praised her team’s effort against tough competition.
This former City of Spokane area high school standout will be active on Sunday, May 10.
