Fatal Motorcycle Crash in North Spokane County

Spokane  County Sheriff’s Deputies and Traffic Unit Investigators responded to  the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash early yesterday morning.  The  adult male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.  No other  vehicles are believed to have been involved.

On  June 20, 2022, at approximately 6:20 am., Spokane County Sheriff’s  Deputies responded to the 36800 N. Echo Road area for a reported  motorcycle crash.

Arriving  Deputies joined Spokane County Fire, AMR, and Deer Park Ambulance  personnel.  The adult male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Spokane County Traffic Unit Technicians responded to conduct the investigation.

Initial  information indicates the motorcycle was traveling north on N. Echo  Road, approaching a left curve.  The driver failed to negotiate the  curve, left the roadway, and crashed.

The rider was wearing a helmet, and speed did not appear to be a factor.

This remains an active investigation.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the decedent’s name when appropriate.
