Congressman Michael Baumgartner posted a series of messages on his Twitter account in early December 2025, addressing community recognition and legislative efforts.

On December 2, 2025, Baumgartner acknowledged another user’s post by stating, “Good stuff, Chip. “.

Later that day, he highlighted local community leadership with the message: “Honored to recognize Ron Hauenstein and the Spokane Fatherhood Initiative on the House floor today. Rob is a pillar in our community that’s helping dads restore relationships, reunite families, and change lives one father, one child, one family at a time.” The Spokane Fatherhood Initiative is an organization focused on supporting fathers in rebuilding family relationships and strengthening communities through fatherhood programs.

On December 3, 2025, Baumgartner commented on recent state and federal policy developments: “While Bob Ferguson and Olympia Democrats gave Washington voters the biggest Tax increase in history, I was proud to join President Trump and Congressional Republicans to give EVERY newborn in the country $1,000 investment accounts. Now Michael Dell is stepping forward to help”. In this statement, Baumgartner referenced significant tax legislation passed by Democratic lawmakers in Washington State as well as a federal initiative providing investment accounts for newborns. He also noted support from Michael Dell for this initiative.

Baumgartner serves as a U.S. Congressman representing Washington State. His public statements often address both local community efforts and national policy issues.
