On Friday, December 29, former Loyola High School standout, Colby Brooks’ current college team, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, lost 74-84 in their NCAA D1 game against the San Diego State Aztecs.
The game took place in Spokane, Washington. This was the first matchup against the San Diego State Aztecs this season.
The Gonzaga Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, January 4 at 6 p.m. in Spokane, Washington.
Karsten Sweum pitched a no-hitter as Gonzaga defeated San Francisco to secure at least part of the West Coast Conference regular season championship. The Bulldogs’ strong offense supported his performance as they extended their winning streak against San Francisco.
Gonzaga men’s rowing earned top honors at this year’s Dad Vail Regatta by winning the Western Sprints Trophy after strong performances in both Varsity Eight events. Assistant coach Kayla Cartelli praised her team’s effort against tough competition.
This former City of Spokane area high school standout will be active on Sunday, May 10.
