SPD was pleased to once again be part of the 8th Annual All Saints Catholic Pre School “Pedaling for Pennies” event recently.
Students pedaled their way around a track to raise money for Second Harvest’s Bite2GO Program which feeds children on the weekends and during the summer.
Officers provided a bike safety class for students and kicked off the event with a motorcycle escort.
The students raised $1,257 this year by getting pledges for their pedaling.
Since the program began, students have raised more than $10,000 – way to go kids!
